The first true poll for the year is online at: www.olcoach.netHe ranks all four classes, and the top players in each class. Take a look.

;D ;D ;D Interesting polls, I agree mostly, I noticed that Shenandoah is second after 3 trips in a row, and returning three great players in Miller, McKinley, and Keisling, I know they lost their big's, but those three make up a good core, and I know that Indian creek is also going to be very good, the other thing is that North Vermillion number one after all the graduation??? Tri-Central returning 3 out of their 4 top scorers, and Washington Township returning all but Gladdis?? Should be interesting, good polls to start with, all classes should be more competitive this year than in the past.

Where do you find the polls? I went to the site link provided and didn't see anything about polls. The site seems to have some problems with text running over into other areas.

I am still somewhat puzzled by N. Putnam's lofty rankings. Doesn't anybody do any homework. They lost Hunt & Parker to graduation and Burney & Godwin via the "I'm a goin elsewhere where it's better for me" transfer routine. Plus Spencer hung up the coaching job. It's doubtful his daughter will even play this year. Some downright serious rebuilding needs done in this program. South Newton #4 in 1A? ?? What's up with that. They lost their best two players to graduation and their best up and coming player transferred to Harrison in Lafayette. Why are they considered so strong?? N. Vermillion will still be good but not near where they have been. I guess you have to consider them #1 until some one beats them. Polls are polls....things will become more clear shortly.

Boy, I would think Tri-Central would get at least a little respect as defending 1A champs, especially considering all they have coming back. North Vermillion? Southwood is shown at #5 in 1A but they are a 2A school now. Is this poll a year old?

Nice list of names. Players need all the recognition that they can get.

One thing I just noticed, southern Indiana isn't represented as well as I would like.

Not represented? Jeffersonville? Corydon Central? North Harrison? Evansville Memorial? Washington? Southwestern?
I think Southern Indiana got all of the credit that is probably due.

hooops..... Sorry, guess I'm as senile as Old Coach and some of his predictions .... Was thinking about N.V.'s conference thread and how they should be considered top there. You are absolutely right...There is no way they should be above Tri-Central in any poll...Tri-Central should be the team that is #1 until proven otherwise.

Whatever sportsguy! When there are over 100 kids and around ten are from south of Indy...my math may be a little rusty. Where is Bianca Haverstock, where is Amy Austin, where is Andrea Fichter, where is Maria Olsthroone, where is the Smith girl from Washington,... 2+2=4 only north of Bloomington! Besides I said as well as I would like.

I don't really see Angola as the 3rd best time at this time. I think they definately have top 10 potential though. I think Garrett or Fremont one if not both will be in the top 10 in 2A.
