I didn't go, but I heard they have instituted a new grade level again this year, along with the age level tourneys. I also heard there is a new president, Walt Raines. Congratulations Walt!

There were several changes made. The AAU site will up-date things sometime this week.

I was. I was dressed as a woman. Actually,I was in Plainfield coaching a 7th grade HGBL team. I was going to come on over, but I was told that all of the "fun" was over. Purdue's MM messed up my weekend schedule ,but I was a proud Daddy when Trina walked out of the tunnel. ;D

I wondered what team that tall lady had played for. The meeting didn't differ from anything that has occured in the past. Some changes in some rules and some new board members. Walt Raines is now the chairman & there is a new southern rep. from Bedford named Don Walters. Both are good folks as was Evan.

Actually,I had a makeover. I was the short, pretty one, with long hair. Fooled everyone, but Denise "Mac". She knows me, anywhere. We have the same birthday. Walt's a good person. He'll do a great jod as Chair. Evan following Pat, was like Zeke following Bird. No win!

I like all the names mentioned. They all will & did better than I could have in that position. You will never please everyone no matter how hard you try. Naturally, being from the deep south, I am out of the loop as far as the rivalries that seem to exist in the Indy area. Maybe there is a benefit to being a southern boy or I mean a "Southern Man"..... ;D

I know what you mean,SM. As long as I have my Family,I'll be okay ,too. With all of the new rule changes,Indiana may need a makeover? I'm just looking forward to playing(coaching) against the great talents of the State. When will they know the sites for the regional and state tournaments?

We are taking bids currently. As far as the final sites determination I can't answer that.

I just saw him the other the other day. He is still around town; Boonville that is. He does not do any coaching or tourneys that I know of. ;D I wish more AAU teams/programs would be available down here. It has been a goal of mine to get something going for kids in Southwestern Indiana. ::)Granny won't let you leave anyway.

Are you kidding? She's been trying to get me off "home detention" for years. I was sentenced to the gym since before birth(1955). I was born in "61". A wife couldn't even do it. ;D Tell Jed hello for me and Trina. You know,he beat up on her pretty bad when she was just a young coach. He's one of the reasons she has the position that she has. He taught her some "old" tricks. Hope your daughter had a good "first day" of practice?
