If you have an email address, you've no doubt been receiving a multitude of emails over the past day or two due to the Sobig-F virus. It's a mass-mailing virus that takes the addresses found on infected computers and uses them to appear as the senders of infected emails. If you are receiving emails with attachments from us, please DO NOT open them. We did not send them. This virus, the sixth version of the original Sobig virus, is expected to die out on September 10. Virus experts expect that the next version will be released on September 11. If you have not already done so, PLEASE PURCHASE VIRUS SOFTWARE AND UPDATE IT EVERY WEEK! The next wave of this virus is expected to be even worse than this last version, which has shut down a number of company servers and slowed down the Internet overall for the past few days. And for Pete's sake, DO NOT open attachments from senders you do not know. More info itmanagement.earthweb.com/secu/article.php/3066311 JW
