Kokomo put three starters in double figures and nine players in the scoring column all while getting every player in by the midway point of the 2nd quarter. This is starting to become the norm for Kokomo, using the entire team from start to finish. Kokomo was led by speedy guard Kayla Drake's career night of 30 points, while Becca Bassinger and Shakeeta Cotton chipped in 11 each. Freshman guard Abby Hemminger played a solid game in relief coming up with several steals, some nice boards, a three pointer and a solid old fashioned three point play. Defense again was great from start to finish by all players. Kokomo's next task will be a tough one as they head south for a pivotal NCC match up with a very good New Castle team on Saturday before taking some time off to enjoy the holidays!

Thanks CCDad! Due to my work schedule I couldn't attend this one, and a christmas party will keep me from attending New Castle.

boilerup, you need to get your priorities straight- are you choosing work (feeding the family) over Lady Kat basketball, us true blue Lady Kat fans rearrange our entire life around the Lady Kat shedule, LOL!!! To bad you missed this one, they all looked sharp, and Drake put up 16 in the 3rd alone!!! Saturdays will be a biggie!!!!
