Not much of a contest in this one, Lady Kats jump out big and roll over the Giants.
Katie Zunick had a great game for the Lady Kats on the inside, and got the same great defensive game from guard Kayla Drake

All in all, Kokomo put 9 different girls in the scoring column by making some great passes and using the driving ability for some easy baskets. this was by far Kokomos best game of the year, having played thier usual stellar D, but now starting to find a way to put some points up without relying solely on Drake. I thought the whole team played great, getting many looks inside for all players. Katie played well inside as well as Woodard and Bassinger is starting to get back into things again. The passing was as sharp today as we have seen since last years team, and the fastbreaks today ended with baskets instead of missed opportunities. This was a great game for all the girls, and great to see them beginning to believe in each other and playing more together as one. Kokomo still needs some work on taking care of the rock, still were several unforced errors, but they did seem to get back quick enough to set up on D and not give away the easy layups like games past. Great job Lady kats, keep working, and keep believing in each other as we all out here believe that as long as you continue to work as one unit you will succeed as all Lady kats from the past have! Great conference win as we know this was the team that gave Hunn. No. thier loss and Hunn. no. took us down by 14, strange how it all works out, this should have been a 20 point loss, not a 28 point win if you look at the last weeks scores. Different teams matchup differently with the same opponants.
