Wheeler led 40-11 at halftime and cruised to their second win of the year in their home opener and 11 girls saw action in this game. Wheeler (2-0) was led by Becca Bruszewski's 22 points, 15 rebs, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. Senior Emilie Naccarato contributed 16 points and 6 steals, and Sophomore Indy Roper added 13 points. The Bearcats are now 2-0 and will play at Hanover next Friday.
Bruszewski needs 37 points to become the school's all-time scoring leader in points for girls. She currently has 1326 points.
Hebron (0-2) was led by Cindy Boricich's 13 points.

It was a good game. after the half. I still will not understand why they have to keep their D-1 recruit in . when they were up 30 pts. I am glad we are not allowed to do this to a team like LaCross. It shows not much class. It is a long season, she will get her all-time high I am sure. Then again, maybe this is why our girls don't get their stats padded. Good Luck to all!
