I just received some info on a new winter basketball league for school based teams. The league is called the Indy Girls Hoops League and will be ran by a board of High School Varsity Coaches. Many of the top programs on the south side of Indy involved. If you want more info they have a website up an running the address is www.indygirlshoops.com or www.theighl.com I been on there and looks like a pretty good deal. Some added information , this is a non-profit league. As many coaches who attended the initial meeting discovered the $150 entry fee will be used to run the league and create a scholarship fund for seniors from the participating schools. THE ENTRY FEE FOR PROGRAMS THAT ENTER 3 OR MORE TEAMS WILL $125.00 PER TEAM. CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS.

This is interesting competition for the Hoosier Girls Basketball League. That league has been very succesful for several years in the Indianapolis area concentrating on school based teams. I've had several teams in the HGBL and always got alot out of it for the girls. I'm sure the new league will be great too, it's nice to have options for teams
