Really good game. Perry had a 41-39 lead with 1:34 left in the game with the ball and 3 straight turnovers cost them the game. Perry Meridian had to foul to stop the clock when they lost the lead and Munn did not miss which gave DC the 47-41 game.

yes I always underestimate how good the Falcons will be due to how well they are coached. I still think at the end of the year they may have at least twice as many losses as last year, but it is clear they are still a threat in Conference Indiana

DC looked really good team wise in the true sense of the word because Krista Schott had all but shut down Anna Munn and Stephanie Lindsey had point guard Lexus Murry shut down but the rest of the team came through, I think in the 3rd quarter it look like Perry might create some space as far as the score goes but the back to back 3 pointers by DC were huge. In the end a great game for being so early in the season.

Yes from a basketball fan perspective it was a very entertaining game. I agree Schott's defense on Munn was great. From what I have heard Murry wasn't feeling the best. She only attempted 6 field goals, however she made 3 of them.
Balanced Contributions from the rest of the team were crucial as Jovanovic had 7 pts 13 Reb, Childress had 10 pts and 3 steals and the older Capps had 7 pts and 3 steals
Have to give it to Munn though... through 2 games defenses have been paying her a lot of attention and she has still wound up with 15 pts in each of the first 2 games. She has been able to do a lot with the minimal amount of good looks she is getting
