Could someone please tell me how the various "lists" are compiled? ( all state, top 60 etc). Is there a set selection process or are there a few people who are involved in making the decisions. If it is the latter, how do they go about selecting kids? Is is stats? Is is the success of the school team? There always seems to be disgruntled people who feel their players were left off the "list". Maybe there should be set, objective criteria ( no , stats are not always objective....turnover to assist ratio and shooting percentage seems to put all girls on a level playing field. If a girl takes 25 plus shots a game, certainly she is going to score more points in a game than the girl who takes less shots per game.) Back to the original question, if the decision is made by a selection committee, do they have guidelines and how are they chosen? Just wondering because I am unfamiliar with the process.
