One girl scoring show for the Wolfpack tonight as senior Chelsea Jellison scored a game-high 28 points, including a driving layup with 21 seconds left to cap a late 6-0 rally to give the host team the win. Jellison was shooting 7-20 for the game before hitting her final three shots. She also added four steals. Crawford County packed in their zone and double-teamed Marksman junior McKenzie Hayes nearly every trip down the floor, severely limiting her touches (8 points for Tell City's leading scorer). However, she still made her presence felt, grabbing 14 rebounds and blocking 12 shots on the night. Crawford County scored 10 straight to take a 10-4 lead after one, but a half-ending 9-2 rally by Tell City tied it 17-17 at the break. After the visitors surged ahead by as much as 30-22 late in the third, the Wolfpack responded with a 10-2 run to tie it. The guests, however, scored five straight to seemingly lock up the game before Jellison's late heroics. Exciting finish to an otherwise very sloppy affair.
