The Olympians bounced back from their first loss of the season with a solid win over Austin. Already down a starter to an ACL, East was further hampered by a probable broken shooting hand for leading scorer Allyson Bunch. After trailing early in the 2nd quarter 14-10, East unleashed a 19-0 streak that effectively decided things. Austin would pull no closer than seven the rest of the way. Kailey Smith led the winning effort with 13 points while Bunch and IPFW signee Courtney Ogle each added 10. Eagles junior Jessie Davidson was a bright spot for Austin, scoring 13.
