Article in The Star this morning about a $4 million renovation to the Coliseum on the State Fairgrounds site. With renovations, it will open in 2014 and seat 9000. In the event of scheduling conflicts with Conseco Fieldhouse or whatever the heck they're calling it these days, anyone think this could be a viable alternative? The 3A/4A sessions would probably be sold out and it'd be pretty full for the 1A/2A in the morning as well. Would (hopefully) bring back some of the casual fans that have clearly been lost with the move to the edges of the state. If there's the Big Ten women's tournament downtown, fans can double up and make a full day of it. Any downside to this? www.indystar.com/article/20120113/LOCAL18/201130321/Pepsi-Coliseum-will-new-home-Indiana-State-Fair-s-big-shows?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|IndyStar.com
