For whatever reason, I can't post to the other thread for 1A. Here's a starter list.
1. Tri Central - top dog until they're knocked off 2. North Vermillion - great run last 2 years 3. Southern Wells - Gave TC a tough regional game 4. Washington Township - fell to TC at Semi's 5. Southwood - upset Culver before falling to WT 6. Union City - Strong program 7. South Newton - Lost to TC in good game 8. West Central - strong core returning 9. New Harmony - Strong program 10. Hebron - up and coming after rebuilding year
Difficult to make a list without knowing how hard some teams are hit by graduation.

Clinton Prairie will contend for the Class A title this season. They are definitely top-10 material.

Washington Township will be good.

Wasn't sure about Southern Wells; That big graduation issue would knock them out of the top ten in my opinion. Clinton Prairie is one that I didn't list that is tough year in and year out. They play a tough schedule. Washington Township could be average very easily, but have found a way to win the last few years even with a high turnover rate. Southwood has a new coach, and that could be interesting. The season is coming quick!

As I said earlier, Washington Township will be tough, they had 2 or 3 girls at the midwest explosion on Sunday, and they looked improved from last year, I believe they will get back to the semi-state, and I also believe that Tri-Central will be there to meet them, should be a great match-up!!!!
Good Luck to all teams!!! ;D

Southwood is now a 2A school, and yes we lost a great coach, and now there's a new one...it will be very different, but I think we have a good year in store for us. We only lost 3 seniors, we will be fine. Almost time for practice....

Wow, shows you how much I know. Didn't realize that Southwood will be 2A. Will Fort Wayne Canterbury climb back into the mix this year. I think they dealt with injuries last year....Could be top 10 material.

Canterbury lost their star guard Swanson and didn't have much to back her up. However, I heard rumors from the FW summer league about a pretty strong incoming freshman class, including Megan King (younger sister of Rachel and Michelle who both went to Luers). If that's true, they could surprise a lot of people.

I'm pretty sure the previous poster is right about Cantebury because I heard the same thing. I can't beleive the younger King didn't go to Luers! What happened there? Coach Krieger does a great job and if this new talent materializes, they could be surprisingly good.
